Re-Editing a Film
So this whole week I was working on sending in one of my films that I made last year to a film festival. When I watched it, I realized that I wanted to add some things to make it better. My movie was a "Paranormal Activity" like movie but the catch is in how I accomplished it. Rather than having multiple cameras set up in different rooms, I had one camera that I had to move from room to room. To keep the same angle for each room, I marked where the tripod was placed on the floors, and what degree the camera angle was at as well as the height. So after viewing the movie I wrote down what I wanted to add or change. I added some more visual effects and sound effects to certain scenes to make it more creepy. I think overall I did well especially for the time limit I had. I hope I win something in the film fest. I encourage who ever reads this to make a film and try your luck at entering it in a film fest. Who knows what could happen.

The Filming Process
What I have noticed is that when I filmed my WWII movies in high school, I spent a very long time out in the field capturing the right shots. Of course being in school and having to deal with homework, classes, and work I had to work with my actors and their schedules. So when filming I had to talk to my actors and figure out which shots needed to or could be filmed when certain people were available. Basically we shot the movies out of order sometimes even starting with the last scene of the movie. However, no matter what the order the movie can still turn out great. So if you have actors that are not paid, like I did, talk to them and find ways to get your shots that you need.

New Movie Idea
So I had this idea for a new movie and it is kinda eh. By eh I mean not finished and somewhat confusing. That is basically why I haven't finished the idea yet. It is about a person who wakes up in a house and doesn't know where he or she is. The person's hands have dried blood on them and the person is scared. The person goes outside the room to the family room and doesn't know where this place is. There is another person in the locked house with this person and things begin to get trippy. I don't really feel like telling everything but needless to say things are going and have gone bad for this person. Give me some feedback on what you think and I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.

Filming what you want, with what money you have
I am a college student about to graduate, and I love to make movies. In fact I have made many films relating to WWII, and if you are trying to create a film with no or little money you know how hard it can be. Now I'm not saying that I have made nothing but WWII movies, but the majority is WWII. I have several that I have made but most of the non-WWII films were filmed while I was in college. So basically I had no money. I had to think outside what I had to work with and manage. When I filmed my WWII stuff it all came out of my pocket. I purchased the uniforms, made the weapons, and assembled the sets.
I will show some of my work and I encourage you to check it out leave me messages and even show me some of your no budget films.
